Board Subcommittee Leadership

Finance & Sponsorship Sub-Committee

This sub-Committee is responsible for overseeing MEACA’s financial health. This sub-committee manages budgeting, financial planning, the accounts and maintaining an appropirate audit record of all financial matters to ensure the organization’s sustainability. Their work is crucial in maintaining the financial stability of the organization and enabling it to continue delivering valuable services to its members.

This sub-committee is tasked with planning and executing MEACA’s events, including conferences, workshops, and networking sessions and securing funding through sponsorships. This team handles all aspects of event organization, from logistics and venue selection to programming and attendee engagement. By coordinating these events, the sub-committee ensures that MEACA provides valuable opportunities for learning, networking, and professional development, aligning each event with the organization's mission and vision. It also identifies and engages potential sponsors, forging partnerships that support MEACA’s programs and initiatives.

The sub-committee focuses on enhancing the overall member experience at MEACA. This team is responsible for managing member inquiries, processing applications, and ensuring that members have access to all benefits and resources. They also work on member retention strategies, gather feedback, and develop initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the membership base. Their efforts are key to fostering a supportive and engaging community for compliance professionals.

This sub-committee is dedicated to representing MEACA’s interests in various countries across the Middle East and Africa. This team works to establish and maintain local connections, promote MEACA’s initiatives, and address region-specific compliance challenges. By acting as liaisons between the organization and regional stakeholders, they help tailor MEACA’s programs and services to meet the unique needs of each country, ensuring a strong and localized presence throughout the regions we serve.

This sub-commitee is responsible for ensuring the effective operational, structural, and regulatory compliance of the organization. This sub-committee oversees governance frameworks, internal policies, and administrative processes to maintain transparency, accountability, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing governance best practices, managing documentation and record-keeping, coordinating meetings and reporting structures, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.

This sub-Committee fosters professional development, networking, and thought leadership by creating bespoke events, mentorship programs, and industry-specific platforms tailored to women. Through strategic outreach, capacity-building initiatives, and knowledge-sharing forums, this committee will amplify women's voices, provide career advancement opportunities, and cultivate a strong, inclusive community of female compliance professionals across diverse sectors.
